From 2pm, on Sunday, 3rd November 2024, we will see the 6th outing of a replica of a medieval trebuchet made by one of our Fizzgigers. The trebuchet will be rolled down the hill to the Recreation Ground, where, helped by some sturdy volunteers, the trebuchet will fling Halloween lanterns.
As with most Fizzgigs’ events, Final Fling will be free – although donations are welcome – just turn up with your Jack-a-lantern and watch those pumpkins fly.
Each pumpkin will need an inventive name and its owner’s name. We will weigh each one and record where it lands. Will your pumpkin hit the new target?
