The weekend of 3rd/4th June saw Fizzgigs put on a specially commissioned show at the historic Ellesmere Canal Maintenance Yard. Written by local author Shaun Higgins, the sixty minute show – Bridging the Gap – told a light-hearted story of how the canal came to Ellesmere and the surrounding area. Over 400 people enjoyed the production which included songs, jokes, fabulous props and wonderful costumes.
