Fizzgigs’ Final Fling happened for the 7th year on the Birch Road recreation field on Sunday 2nd November from 2pm.. ‘Fling’? What’s that? Watch the video for details, but suffice to say anyone can bring along their halloween pumpkins and have them fired from a mock-up of a medieval trebuchet.
Each pumpkin needed an inventive name and its owner’s name. We weighed each one and recorded where it landed. Did any hit the new target?
As with most Fizzgigs’ events, Final Fling is free – although donations are always welcome – you can just turn up with your Jack-a-lantern and watch those pumpkins fly.
There were strange names ! There were targets! There were prizes. As ever with Fizzgigs, this is a free event so come on down to join in the fun next year!
